Lately, I’ve come upon the apparent fact that there are many MMORPG gamers, including many roleplayers, who have played very few other games, if any. I am aware of more than a few of my fellow roleplayers whose very first foray into roleplaying, and even gaming, is with their current characters in LotRO and WoW. To me, this is a very surprising find, considering I am of the first ‘gaming generation’, and many of my gaming friends are younger (some much more so) than me.

PS3 owners may be looking at a veritable banquet of extras when Mass Effect 2 hits the console next year. Aside from the game itself, the disk will apparently contain a number of pieces of DLC, as well as a brand new mission, said to last around six hours. These details come from an interview that Mass Effect 2 project director Casey Hudson gave to German PS3 magazine Play3, which found their way on to the BioWare forums via community representative Nathalie Edelmann.

Over the last two Mass Effect games, there’s no shortage of people who want to do harm to Commander Shepard. Mass Effect is a series all about reactive storytelling, weighty choices, and sprawling adventures that evolve with every step forward. It’s also a series with a fairly large plot hole introduced by Mass Effect 2’s final DLC expansion, Arrival. To address this, Blizzard has posted on the game’s official forums to announce that trading has been temporarily disabled in Diablo 4, as the team investigates the potential glitch and identifies any issues they may need to resolve. The full statement reads as follows: There’s no word on when trading will become available again in Diablo 4. Dupe glitches can be a huge problem in games like these, where the whole point of the game is to grind and farm loot to complete a build.

I remember when I was showing off this game to a group of friends, we usually gather up in a group of 5-ish and everyone plays a bit with anything we have access to, and one in the group wanted to try. Me and the other person who were interested in the game were having a blast on the first section of the game, until at last we couldn’t ignore the rest of the guys mocking the game for not getting what it was all about.

This bloodsucking action RPG sequel has had a troubled history, to say the least. Announced in 2019, it was scheduled for a 2020 release. Developed by Hardsuit Labs, Publisher Paradox Interactive later took it out of their hands and gave it to The Chinese Room, the team behind Still Wakes the Deep and more. But now, Paradox and The Chinese Room have confirmed that they’re extending their development time. In a new developer update (which goes out of its way not to mention the word “delay”), the two explain the thinking behind pushing the game back.

Warner Brothers Entertainment is in talks with Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy to direct and develop a Minecraft movie. Warner Bros. announced in February it had acquired the rights to a live-action Minecraft movie, and since then not much has been announced. Levy directed and produced the three Night at the Museum movies, the latest of which will release this December. His other directing credits include This is Where I Leave You, Real Steel, and Date Night.
