Most of my hands-on time at the booth was spent gleefully experimenting with Super Mario Maker. While that was clearly the big N’s standout title for me, I did get limited hands-on time with three other upcoming games: The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, and Star Fox Zero. There’s plenty of gameplay variety and fan-favorite characters to be found among all three, but because Nintendo is clearly preaching to the converted, none are likely to garner new devotees.
Do You Need a PC for Your Meta Quest 2 & 3? Strictly speaking, you don’t need a separate computer to use your Meta Quest 2 or 3, as both VR headsets are fully functional without one. You’re able to get through the entire set up process without ever once using a PC — though you may need a phone or some other way to access the internet for some of the verification required.

Carta dwarves are trying to kill you and your sibling for reasons that apparently have something to do with your father, Malcolm. You soon discover that the dwarves need your blood so that someone named Corypheus can “see the sun again,” and they’re not too particular on how they get it. Legacy is basically a dungeon crawl that takes you through the underground prison that the Grey Wardens created to contain Corypheus.
More EA games are disappearing from Valve’s digital distribution platform Steam, this time BioWare’s RPG sequel, Dragon Age 2. The game remains available on other services, such as Impulse, Direct2Drive, and, of course, EA’s Origin service. There’s no information as to why the game has been removed, although some are speculating that it might have something to do with EA’s decision to sell the latest DLC from within the game, rather than separately through Steam itself.
Dress to Impress Showcaes New Brat Event Just before 1pm EST, the official Dress to Impress account on X (formerly Twitter) shared the image above, along with the caption “I think the apples rotten right to the core!”, accompanied with a green apple emoji. The quote is a line from “Apple”, one of the most popular tracks on Charli XCX’s Brat album. Brat has a distinct aesthetic, with its particular shade of green and low resolution lowercase text.
Added new codes! Both you and your army of girls will have a much easier time if you redeem E.T.E Chronicle codes. Since this is a gacha game, getting everything you need feels like a nightmare. Since Microsoft launched Kinect for Windows and its attendant software development kit last year, the humble Xbox peripheral has found itself giving life to shopping carts, helping visually impaired people navigate obstacles, and grooming cats in tandem with a Wiimote (no, really). In an effort to assist entrepreneurs with the development of more useful implementations for its tech, Microsoft recently invited a bunch of them to use its resources to develop market-viable products using Kinect as part of its “Accelerator” program.
In a statement sent to Joystiq, ESA Senior Director of Communications Dan Hewitt wrote, “If the ESA posted a blog and called it a news site, journalists would rightfully balk and it wouldn’t pass a smell test. Remarkably, GamePolitics doesn’t face the same scrutiny even though it’s funded by the ECA (Entertainment Consumers Association, owner of GamePolitics) and tainted with anti-ESA vitriol. At the end of the day, calling GamePolitics a news site is as laughable as saying there’s a Cuban free press.
You may have noticed that Turtle Rock Studio’s unreleased monster hunter Evolve is going to have a lot of DLC. In fact, last year, Turtle Rock actually went out and said that Evolve will have lots of DLC. While on-going support of a game through additional content is always a good thing, all this talk of all this extra DLC, before the game has even been released, is of course naturally making fans a bit nervous, that the base game has deliberately had content cut from it to sell back to us as DLC.
Orcs Must Die! is looking to be a frenetic, action-packed strategy/action hybrid. Keep your eyes peeled for its release this summer.
When Is the Failure Frame Episode 7 Release Date? The Failure Frame episode 7 release date is August 15. The last episode, which we’ll dive into more below, had Touka seemingly fighting between his impure and pure family, at least in terms of how he presents himself to the world. It’s an interesting battle to watch and possibly the most interesting battle to watch, given how absurdly powerful he is at this point.
Fallout 3 was a great game in many respects, but one of the parts where it fell short was how the game handled morality – more specifically, how characters reacted to you. Sure, you lost Karma for robbing that one guy and shooting him in the face, but his next-door neighbor still greeted you with a friendly smile. And did more than two or three people treat you any differently if you blew up Megaton?
Wandering the wasteland is never as much fun alone as it is when you’ve got a friend at your side to help bear the load and share the laughs. Companions have always featured prominently in the Fallout series and Fallout: New Vegas is no exception. Players will be able to take one humanoid and one non-humanoid pal with them on their journey across the blasted desert. But who will it be?
Fallout: New Vegas was a buggy mess when it came out back in October, suffering from issues ranging from the creepy but relatively harmless “Exorcist twist” all the way up to far-too-common show-stopper crashes. Bethesda promised to put out patches “as quickly as possible” just a day after the game launched and revealed yesterday that a big, “comprehensive” patch is in the works for all three platforms and should be out in the next few weeks.
