Dungeons & Dragons has announced their first big storyline for 2015, Elemental Evil, and it sounds like a doozy. In it, players will challenge elemental powers in what sounds like a riff on the classic D&D module The Temple of Elemental Evil. Alongside a D&D adventure to release April 7th, 2015, the storyline will feature the return of the popular D&D Adventure System board games and a module for the Neverwinter MMO.
A few notes before we begin; we’re only looking at his major 3D outings, so no 2D games or spin-offs like the Storybook subseries. Plus, if a game was released for multiple systems and there are significant differences between the two versions, then we’ll count them as their own separate entries. With that being said, here’s our ranking of every major 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game!
13. Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) Calling Sonic the Hedgehog, also known as Sonic 06, the worst 3D Sonic game is just a given by this point.
Really, they’d only be annoying because of the false perspective an FPS is forced to use; because most people don’t own a gigantic convex television that takes up their entire range of vision, we’re forced to have an artificially narrow view of the world that consists only of central vision, and sometimes not even all of that. Gordon’s glasses would be no more or less annoying than real glasses if they could put them where real glasses would be in his view, but they can’t.
Van Buren was the code-name for Black Isle’s aborted attempt at a second Fallout sequel. The game was intended to be set in the American southwest, and a basic storyline had been plotted that expanded upon the events of the first two games, focusing largely on a war raging between the Brotherhood of Steel and the New California Republic. Before work could progress past this early stage, however, the entire Black Isle Studios staff was laid off by its parent company, Interplay.
Fallout 4‘s final DLC sends you to the Nuka-World amusement park, which is filled with raiders, monsters, and all sorts of foes. You’ll throw your lot in with the raiders and try to seize the rest of the park from the monsters and people that are living there. In preparation for the launch of Nuka-World tomorrow, Bethesda has released a new trailer that shows off the different areas of the park, as well as a number of the developers talking about how the DLC will work, and what you’ll be expected to do.
Over the weekend, a Bethesda staffer confirmed something that most of us already suspected: Fallout 4 will be skipping the “last-generation” consoles – the PS3 and Xbox 360. The staffer, replying to a thread on NeoGAF, confirmed that the only platforms the post-apocalyptic shooter will see release on are PC, PS4 and Xbox One. When we first saw the game’s reveal trailer, it was only announced for these the three current-gen platforms, but many thought that Bethesda may announced a last-gen port somewhere down the line, due mostly in part to that crazy reddit rumor.
As mentioned, this deck is looking to go a little longer topping out with [mtg_card=Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker] or even [mtg_card=Keranos, God of Storms] and [mtg_card=Narset, Enlightened Master] out of the sideboard. The deck does have a fair amount of scry going on, so 24 should be a pretty safe number to balance colored sources and casting spells on time. The only lingering question with lands is whether or not this deck wants a full 12 tapped lands.
Looks like Jurassic Park isn’t the only 90s classic getting a new lease on life. Twentieth Century Fox has officially given the go-ahead for a sequel to the iconic blockbuster Independence Day. The original film, also called “ID4,” was one of the biggest box-office hits of all time when it was released in 1996. A sort of “optimist’s apocalypse,” it depicted a scenario whereby an attempted extinction of the human race by a massive fleet of alien invaders ultimately unites humanity across racial, cultural and national borders to defend their planet and their lives.
Those snooty West Coasters think they’re so great, what with all their videogame conferences; with their E3s and GDCs and the like. Sure, places like Vancouver, the Bay Area, and LA are game development hotspots, but what about over here on the East? Boston, Montreal, New York City, and The Escapist‘s very own Raleigh-Durham Triangle – among others – are development hubs in their own right, and why shouldn’t we get our own conferences where the best and brightest can share their thoughts about how to make a totally kickass game?
The upcoming feature Terminator: Genisys is aiming to start the popular Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi franchise over from scratch via the magic of time-travel. The film’s official site is currently counting down to the release of the first trailer later today, but fans can get a brief glimpse via a brief teaser now. The short 15-second snippet doesn’t offer much context, but we do get to hear a new interpretation of the classic Terminator theme, a look at a futuristic facility of some kind, what appears to be a new T-1000 and Arnold back in his T-800 threads.
Whatever the cause, many PS4 players are facing issues with load times and inconsistent frame rate with the very first tutorial. During the graphic cutscenes at the beginning of the game, you should see hitches and framerate chugging — followed by a gruelingly long load time. Some report upwards of ten minutes, while we experienced fifteen minutes or longer. For others, the loading simply stopped before the game even begins.
This is The Big Picture with Bob Chipman, talking about Gotham High.
First, the bad news: There’s no Zero Punctuation this week. Now, the fantastically awesome news: Instead of his normal, weekly review, we’ve got hours of Yahztee live at this weekend’s Escapist Expo instead! Don’t worry, Yahtzee will be back next week for his usual timeslot, but for now, you can watch him and the rest of the Escapist talent dish about games, movies, what they love, what they hate, fanboyism, and more in our Expo panel video series.
How Long Does Love Island USA Last? Love Island USA runs for a total of six weeks, and the information provided by former contestant Coye Simmons suggests that the castmates are on the island for approximately the same amount of time, give or take a few days. This gives Love Island the distinction of being the only reality dating show that airs almost simultaneously with when it is filmed, as other shows of its kind generally air up to a year after they are originally filmed.

The hidden basketball can be found right outside the door where the second AMP sits.
Earning the DNA Bomb Killstreak in MW3 Fortunately, the DNA Bomb works exactly like the Nuke currently does in MW3. If you’re wondering how that could possibly work, the DNA Bomb is replacing the Nuke killstreak we have in multiplayer. As of Season 4, you will no longer call in the “MGB” for going on a 25 killstreak. Instead, you’ll call in the DNA Bomb, which has a new animation after it goes off.
