Yeah, if you thought the first season was intense, hold onto your zombie butts. The trailer dropped today in “celebration” of Outbreak Day, which is the day in the game’s world when the virus broke out and ended the world as well know it. In this second season, we see the continuation of Joel and Ellie’s story, five years after the events of the first season, which ended pretty climatically.
Frank Herbert’s Dune (1965) tells the story of 15-year-old Paul, heir to the noble House Atreides, who travels with his parents to the desert planet Dune, home to the indigenous Fremen, giant sandworms, and a drug known as spice. Found only on Dune, spice enables faster-than-light space travel, which makes it the most precious commodity in the universe. As the Atreides take over spice production, they are betrayed, Paul flees into the desert to join the Fremen, and he eventually leads them in sandworm-powered revenge.
The upcoming film takes place well before The Witcher series as it tells the tale of Geralt’s mentor Vesemir and how he came to be a witcher alongside some of his other exploits. The Nightmare of the Wolf trailer seems to hint that the series will be as much about him as fleshing out the lore of the witchers themselves. Vesemir will battle not just monsters but challenges from those whom he defends from the monsters (for cash, of course), and a new power is rising in the Continent that is set to not just change Vesemir but the entire world.
“Nonetheless, a lot of people are feeling fear, stress or discomfort when working with me,” Tomaszkiewicz said in the email, and he apologized to affected staff members “for all the bad blood I have caused.” He also offered: “I am going to continue working on myself. Changing behavior is a long and arduous process, but I’m not giving up, and I hope to change.” Tomaszkiewicz’s resignation follows a tumultuous few months for CD Projekt Red.
Lost’s Worst Episodes Are Still a Part of Its Tapestry For Nikki and Paulo’s haters, their episode was at worst an hour more torturous than anything Sayid Jarrah conceived of while working for the Republican Guard and at best the filler episode to end all filler episodes. “Exposé” might very well be the filler episode to end all filler episodes, but when did filler become such a dirty word? It used to be a privilege to invite the characters we love into our homes every week to spend time with them, whether that time was spent advancing the plot or not.
Four years ago, a Fallout MMO seemed like a real possibility until legal disputes ruled it out. But 2016 might bring us the next best thing: a Fallout: New Vegas multiplayer mod. Created by a third-party fan team, this project is exactly what it sounds like – an attempt to translate New Vegas‘ levels and systems into an online game where you complete quests with other players. How does one go about making Fallout: New Vegas an online game?
In Only Murders in the Building‘s latest documentary-style episode, Kumail Nanjiani’s Christmas-themed fitness guru Rudy Thurber brags about his illustrious acting career. According to Rudy, his credits include an extra role in Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio’s 2002 film Catch Me If You Can, leading Only Murders in the Building fans to wonder whether Nanjiani may have actually had a background role in the film that inspired the anecdote.
What Are Barebones Kills in MW3? One of the most recent Barebones Kills challenges has players using the Haymaker shotgun to pull them off. But without the right information, you will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Thankfully, getting Barebones Kills isn’t too complicated. Barebones Kills only happen when a player kills another player with a weapon that has no attachments. So, despite making all that effort to unlock the best attachments to make your guns better, you will have to leave them in the Gunsmith if you want any chance of finishing this challenge.
Den of Thieves 2: What Does ‘Pantera’ Mean? It’s common for a sequel to have a subtitle – just look at most of the follow-ups in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But very rarely does an English movie use a non-English subtitle. However, “Pantera,” which translates to “panther” in several languages, isn’t all that much of a surprise, as Den of Thieves 2 director Christian Gudegast let it slip many years ago that panthers would be involved in the sequel.

Where Is 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort Filmed? The 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort is filmed in a resort in the Arizona desert (via InTouch Weekly). That’s presumably because it’s so remote there’s less chance of people turning up, either fans or reporters. No doubt TLC hired out the entire resort and implemented security, but people can be very sharp-eyed. Just take Below Deck, for example. Fans are pretty good at spotting where the ships are moored, even temporarily, working out where their next destinations might be.
How to Find Fireproof Plastic in Once Human Fireproof Plastic can be scrapped from items like Sports Water Bottles in Iron River. Along with Note Boards and Safety Helmets, this river region is your only option for getting the tier 3 materials you need. As always, you need to enter the region and start collecting all of the materials you possibly can before heading back to a Disassembly Bench. If you have the right items, then you can easily extract plastic as a refined resource.
Is the Star Wars Holiday Special on Streaming? No, the Star Wars Holiday Special isn’t available on streaming. Nor is it available on view-on-demand platforms or physical media. Star Wars creator George Lucas wasn’t a fan of the special and limited access to it while he still controlled the series. And nothing’s changed in the years since Lucas sold Lucasfilm (and with, it Star Wars) to Disney. So, the only way to view the Star Wars Holiday Special in full is via bootleg recordings and YouTube uploads.

Long story short: the last week has been a flurry of anti-inflammatories, painkillers, visual novels and coughed-up-shards-of-bone; not exactly ideal writing conditions. I’m still a little achy and miserable, but that’s not too far from my usual baseline, so EDA and CM will now recommence.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the anime, Look Back was the first major one-shot that Fujimoto released after his seminal work Chainsaw Man. It was first published in 2021 and follows the story of two young girls, Fuko and Kyomoto, who are artists. It is a beautiful work of art that encapsulates what creativity and loss truly mean, along with the impact art has on life.
Frankenstein Where to stream: Peacock Released in the same year as Dracula, 1931’s Frankenstein would be a part of a one-two punch that would establish Universal’s Monsters as iconic mainstays for years to come. While the film is a vast departure from the horrific and profound source material, this feature film has plenty going for it. The biggest factor is Boris Karloff as the monster. Paired with the makeup work from the legendary Jack Pierce (who would go on to do many other Universal monsters), Karloff’s performance as the monster would set the standard for monster movies decades later.
The goal of this series is to show that being “manly” and being disconnected with your emotions do not necessarily go hand-in-hand. While the approach to these articles is one of comedy and satire, the emotional core of these movies is very valid. Manly movies make guys cry, for example:
Scary Alien Films No, I’m not just going to list the Alien films. Sure, one might find its way onto the list (spoiler: one does), but let’s face it: not all of that franchise deserves to exist.
Don’t see your favorite? Tell us what it is in the comments! The Temple of Elemental Evil The Temple of Elemental Evil has a colorful history. Developed by Troika, the game released with a number of bugs. Although the developer rolled out three patches to fix many of them, Atari shuttered Troika shortly after the game launched, leaving a number of bugs unresolved. That’s when the community took over. A mod group calling themselves “Circle of Eight” began patching the game.
