In fact, not only is it someone from outside the Assassin’s Creed series, this character isn’t even owned by developer Ubisoft. Do you want to guess who it is? Well, do you? Go on, I can wait. It’s kind of a spoiler. So, you shouldn’t look below this unless you really mean it.

Batman: Arkham Asylum seems to have won over quite a few folks out in gaming land, but the thing about gamers is that if you give them something they like, they’ll just ask for more of it. Unfortunately Rocksteady Studios can’t give us a sequel to Arkham Asylum just this moment – they’re still not sure if people like it enough to warrant it (hint: they do) – but what they can give us is some DLC.
Arrival slipped out back in February thanks to a BioWare forum user who noticed that a patch for the PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 added three new trophies for a previously-unknown DLC pack. One of the Arrival trophies mentioned Dr. Amanda Kenson, a scientist mentioned in Mass Effect 2’s Cerberus news feed who claimed that the ancient mass effect relays were actually even older than anyone suspected; there was some lively debate about what it meant but it seemed pretty clear that Arrival is the long-awaited DLC that would bridge the gap between Mass Effect 2 and 3, and herald some seriously bad news for Earth.

I’m just guessing here as to what happened. As I said, was not paying enough attention. I think the two groups on either side of us left. With Nene and Soul Riper gone, we had no chance. The entire party was wiped out, barring me and one mage, while I was hugging Rosa good night.
There are two distinct power groups in the Isparian world: The New Aluvians who swear fealty to the self-appointed queen, Elysa Strathelar. And those that follow the pragmatist teachings of the fallen archmage, Nuhmudira. So, Isparian, who do you side with? The clouds are gathering…do not be caught unawares in the rain. Chose your side and give your reasons here.

Earlier this March, Ubisoft claims that the reason they release a new Assassin’s Creed every year is due to gamers wanting one annually. Now, given that Assassin’s Creed games are AAA, high-budget affairs, how can Ubisoft develop and release an entry year after year? As it turns out, the answer is: tap lots and lots of studios to develop it simultaneously. For this year’s current-gen (PC, PS4 and Xbox One) only entry, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Ubisoft has ten studios working on the game — three more studios compared to Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.
When Microsoft unveiled its Games With Gold scheme at the recent E3 conference, two games were specifically mentioned as examples of titles that would be available, free of charge, for download to anyone with an Xbox Live Gold subscription: Halo 3 and Assassin’s Creed II. This revelation excited people, but then the program debuted and to date the only free titles we’ve seen have been Fable III and the recently added Defense Grid: The Awakening.
Every Visible Trophy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows Ahead of launch, Ubisoft has revealed a big chunk of the trophies that fans can unlock in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The list will be the same regardless of whether players are seeking to acquire these achievements on Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox. Ubisoft has also assured fans that no trophies are tied to story choices, so the full list can be unlocked on a single play through.

Batman and the Joker have one of the most iconic rivalries in history, but it is getting a bit over-saturated. After serving as the main antagonist for all three Arkham games, the Joker will be sitting Arkham Knight out. Batman still has plenty of enemies to take his place, but the Joker’s absence will definitely be felt – in fact, it’s a critical part of the story. Beware, spoilers for Arkham City and very small spoilers for Arkham Knight lay ahead.
Back in April, rumors began to swirl about a remastered version of the Batman: Arkham games. Today, Warner made the remaster official with an announcement and a new trailer. The new title will contain both Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009) and Batman: Arkham City (2011). Both games are being remastered by Virtuos using Unreal Engine 4. Warner’s press release says this will bring “improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders.
Those who stumbled across the sketch for Bechdel Test: The Game while scrolling social media may have already been familiar with Hotel Art Thief’s pitch-perfect parodies of video game mechanics from their similarly viral trailer for The Bear: The Game. But rather than spoof the tropes of an existing intellectual property, the comedy group tackles the broader concept of feminist theory in their latest video game spoof. Contrary to fictional feminist scholars Joe and Mike’s assertions, the Bechdel Test derives from cartoonist Alison Bechdel’s 80s comic strip Dykes to Watch Out For, where it was first introduced as a quippy metric to measure female representation in film.
If one were to take Groundhog Day, set it in a high school and mix it with Mean Girls, and then remove almost all of its comedic elements, you’d be in the ballpark of what Before I Fall delivers. A shallow, mopey, young adult Groundhog Day, the film is the type of project that will only feel profound for those under the age of 12. And since it’s rated PG-13 – and features teenage drinking, some profanity, mentions of suicide, and other types of content aimed at older teens – anyone who will glean anything from it will have to drag someone older with them.
From soft reboots and sequels, there was something in the fighting genre for everyone in 2023, released across a variety of consoles and platforms. More than just offering an impressive breadth in the number of titles, this year also saw its big franchises take major creative risks that often paid off with high-quality experiences. With all that in mind, here are the best fighting games of 2023.
God of Rock Rather than focus on long, complex combos or a standard block and attack combat system, the Brazilian fighting game God of Rock focuses on rhythm and tempo.
Sword of Convallaria Best Gloria Build Overview Gloria is a Watcher-type character in Sword of Convallaria, and if you rerolled for her specifically, chances are pretty good that she’s going to be your main DPS carry for a very long time. She functions great as a support character who can buff your team and debuff enemies, but she’s also fantastic as a pure DPS character. As you rank her up, you’ll also get to choose various skills for her.
How Gorgon Works in Marvel Snap Gorgon is a 2-cost, 3-power card with an ability that reads: “Ongoing: Your opponent’s cards that didn’t start in their deck cost 1 more. (maximum 6)” This is clearly a direct counter to Arishem decks; however, it also affects decks like Discard that fill their hands with Swarms, Iron Patriot rolls, and Devil Dinosaur lists – though the latter isn’t all that popular. It can be negated with Mobius M.
