Per The Verge, Mass Effect Legendary Edition has improved load times and visuals, especially in Mass Effect 1. Most notably, elevator rides, which were originally notorious for masking long load times, will be faster, and visuals in the original game (particularly in the opening area, Eden Prime) have been drastically overhauled.
