Earlier in 2015, a movie starring Adam Sandler called The Cobbler was released. In short: it wasn’t good. Prior to Spy, Melissa McCarthy might have been the most popular actor working to never play the leading role of a good movie. She was fine in supporting roles like St. Vincent or Bridesmaids, but as soon as she was given the reigns, we got awful, awful movies like Identity Thief or Tammy. Now, though, she can finally claim to have been the lead of a good movie, even though she’s still not the best or funniest part of it.

Edi Gathegi’s Mister Terrific, Explained Edi Gathegi’s Superman character, Mister Terrific, is a superhero who uses his genius-level intellect to fight crime. Chris Worth of the U.K. recently spent $3000 and the better part of a week touring and taking photos of the Mojave Desert, not because he has some deep-rooted affinity for barren landscapes [although he does describe the American west as one of his favorite places on Earth] but because of his affection for the “brilliant” post-nuclear RPG Fallout: New Vegas. The one thing most viewers of The Acolyte could agree on was Jacinto’s The Stranger being a great villain. He was a compelling character and a physical fighter, giving countless Jedi a run for their money. After Ben Affleck decided he’d wasn’t going to direct the solo Batman movie, Warner Bros. probably wanted to find someone to replace him fairly quickly. It was initially reported that Matt Reeves would get the job, but those negotiations apparently fell through. The two sides must have continued talking, because Reeves has now officially signed on to The Batman. Speculation said that Reeves initially dropped out due to creative differences, but is now also being given a producer credit – which may have been what sealed the deal.

It will take a liberal amount of skill and luck to succeed at evading the alien. That didn’t stop me from shooting half-squid-half-kid hybrids from the opposing team every chance I got. I’m just saying, it won’t get you the win. No, to win you have to cover as much of the level as humanly (squidly?) possible with paint.
