On the face of it, adult animated series Creature Commandos is an odd choice to launch DC Studios co-head James Gunn’s revamped cinematic DC Universe. I don’t even know if it’s possible to be excited at this point, but Warner Bros. has released the first full Justice League trailer. It looks … more of the same, really. Earlier today, Fox made news by officially picking up Gotham for a series order, making it the first high-profile new pickup for the 2014/15 TV season. Comprised of ex-developers from ZA/UM, Longdue is a new indie studio that’s set to work on a Disco Elysium spiritual successor as their first major project. Ex-developers from studios like Bungie and Rockstar are also involved in this project. According to Narrative Director Grant Roberts, Longdue’s vision is largely shaped by their inspirations from classic RPGs like Ultima, Wizardry, as well as Fallout and Planescape. There are no other details about the game, including an official title or release window.

How the Prestige System Works in Black Ops 6 Warzone As most gamers are already aware, the classic Prestige system is back in Black Ops 6. Once you hit level 55, you can Prestige to get a new icon and get all kinds of rewards. The only major caveat is that it resets all of the unlocks, meaning all that grinding will have to be done again. However, with Warzone and Black Ops 6 intertwined, it leaves the question of whether that happens to the battle royale mode as well.

If you’ve been keeping up on our Doctor Who reviews, you know that I’ve felt the last couple of episodes have been highly derivative of older episodes, but this week we have something that feels like fresh territory for new Who. Unfortunately for some, this fresh territory comes with a lot of comedy — and if you’re used to the darker tone the show’s taken lately, the slapstick comedy of Robot of Sherwood (spoiler alert: there are robots) might not work for you.

Doctor Who‘s latest episode is called Kill the Moon and from that title you already have a good idea of what you’re going to get: ridiculous moon-based action (with some horror movie chills promised by the trailer). Unfortunately, the action is often spoiled by the science, which even by Doctor Who standards is pretty slip-shod. After all, there are plenty of horrible ways you could die on the moon, but any realistic premises are given a nod at best — like a throwaway line about running out of oxygen, which seems like it could have been used to build tension if it weren’t tossed into the story without buildup or follow-up.

While Arcane‘s second season ties up the show’s core narrative, Riot Games has already indicated that further stories set in the Runeterra universe are on the way. The 18th Annual D.I.C.E Awards have concluded, with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor sweeping every category it was nominated for except the overall Game of the Year, which was well earned by Dragon Age: Inquisition. Though BioWare’s DLC intentions for Dragon Age: Origins were fairly well known, it looks like the company’s official plans for launch are now in order. BioWare confirmed that the Warden’s Keep DLC will definitely be available the day Dragon Age: Origins is released, and will be priced at $7 across all three platforms. The Stone Prisoner DLC will still be included in every copy of the game, but will also be available for $15 as reported earlier if you don’t happen to acquire the game by natural means, or if you buy it used (perish the thought).

Musk is an avid gamer; he’s never been shy about that. He’s on the record as saying that Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games of all time, and in 1983 when he was 12 years old, he made a game of his own called Blastar that he sold for a little bit of cash. Musk is even a big fan of some more recent titles, telling Joe Rogan during an appearance on his podcast that he’s ranked in the top 20 of Diablo IV players.

Medieval fantasy is a pleasantly familiar bit of escapism, filled with elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, dragons, and swords-and-sorcery high jinks in countrysides, forests, castles, and dungeons. It was popularized through the influence of Arthurian legend, Norse mythology, C.S. Lewis, and J.R.R. Tolkien (who was himself heavily influenced by Norse myths). Medieval fantasy RPGs, meanwhile, rose to prominence through the likes of Ultima, Wizardry, Might and Magic, and Dungeons & Dragons and borrowed heavily from Tolkien and the other genre mainstays.
