Fans have noticed a trend in the previous movies: the color of Maddie’s clothes seems to hint at which character will appear in the post-credits scene. In the first movie, she wore yellow, which matched Tails’ appearance, and in the second movie, her red and black outfit was similar to Shadow’s colors. Because of this pattern, fans believe the pink sweater in Sonic 3 suggests that Amy Rose might appear in the post-credits scene.

The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery continues with its second episode on Paramount+, with the series embarking on an epic hunt across the galaxy for a valuable artifact. However, a new villainous pair is one step of the USS Discovery as its crew faces major personal crossroads. Previously on Star Trek: Discovery, Starfleet Command’s black ops official Doctor Kovich assigned Captain Michael Burnham and the USS Discovery to recover a Romulan diary with confidential information.
I can’t help but really wonder if Blizzard saw the backlash from the removal of LAN support from StarCraft II coming at all, or if it caught them completely by surprise. While the company stood resolute in the face of a petition that first had thousands of signatures, but as of August 16th had 100,452, declaring LAN to be a “footnote in history,” it looks like Big Blue is willing to compromise after all.
Last year, Brown was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars for American Fiction, a satire on racism and the publishing industry, which highlights certain pre-conceived notions that people hold about persons of color, in this case specifically, a Black male novelist in America (played by Jeffrey Wright). Recently, during his appearance on an NPR podcast, the host asked Brown whether he had ever had a similar encounter. And the actor opened up about his early days in Hollywood and how he was told he couldn’t be his smart self if he wanted to score a role.
Jurassic Park, the latest adventure game from the guys behind the latter Sam and Max games and the excellent Hector: Badge of Carnage, hasn’t been fairing too well with the critics. The three professional reviews it’s received start at 60 and get lower from there, and the Metacritic user reviews were even worse. That is, until a series of four positive user reviews cropped up in quick succession, each giving the game a solid ten and lathering on the praise.
15. Chewbacca with Bowcaster (Star Wars: A New Hope) This Ornament is a great and affordable depiction of one of Star Wars most iconic characters. Fans will recognize Chewbacca for his prolific appearances across all three Star Wars trilogies. He’s one of the most wholesome and loyal Star Wars characters, serving as Han Solo’s best friend, a Rebel Alliance war hero, ally to Yoda, as well as the centerpiece of the maligned Star Wars Holiday Special.
10. 27 Dresses There is an art to a great rom-com, but it didn’t seem like 27 Dresses had that art when Fox unceremoniously dumped it in January of 2008 (the greatest January in film history) despite featuring the red-hot Katherine Heigl. Critics were pretty savage to it, but audiences did turn up. However, its inclusion on this list above some other critically acclaimed January films is because of the movie’s legs and the fact that it feels far more like a January movie than those movies.
As one of the most popular superheroes on the planet, Batman is inevitably drawn into these discussions. At a time of increasing income inequality and where the historically unpopular president of the United States has built his brand identity as a billionaire, what does it mean to tell stories about a wealthy man who uses his fortune to act as an unchecked vigilante? It has become cliché to argue Bruce Wayne should pay more tax or donate his fortune if he really wants to help Gotham.
Shockingly, you won’t find a single pony in the bunch, but you will find plenty of well-loved and utterly spoiled critters. Most of them were also rescue animals, adopted from shelters, taken off the streets – one was even saved from a cardboard box. So here’s to you, oh ye furry (and sometimes scaly) friends without whom our lives would not be the same. Sure, we’d be able to sit wherever we wanted and our furniture would have way fewer chew marks, but what’s the fun in that?

There’s an old holiday standard that refers to the Christmas (et al) season as the “most wonderful time of the year.” I’m not saying that it isn’t, but for gamers, E3 is pretty damn close. This is the time of year where we get to glimpse the future – we get to see all of the shiny new goodies that our favorite developers have in store. This year, Team Escapist is out on the E3 floor in force.
Maybe there’s a kind of intellectual Uncanny Valley here; just as something that looks almost but not quite like a real human being will be much more unsettling than something that is a bit more stylized, something that behaves almost but not like a real intelligence feels unsettling to us, while a series of canned responses feels more natural. Also, why aren’t any of those geniuses mentioned in Steampunk literature?
The Twenty-Sided Tavern brought its interactive revelry to New York’s Stage 42 in Spring 2024 as a part of Dungeons & Dragons’ official 50th anniversary celebration. The iconic TTRPG’s staged adaptation has since flourished into a potent brand in and of itself, finding its way to new audiences with an Australian residency, an upcoming national tour in the United States, and a revolving door of celebrity guests at its flagship New York City stage.
“See For Yourself, It’s Not Disrespectful!” In an effort to quell the controversy surrounding Medal of Honor, EA has set up a last minute multiplayer beta, so that people can try it for themselves and see that the game is actually respectful to the troops and the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan. The beta is only coming to the PC however, presumably because PC gamers need the most convincing, not because the servers need load testing or anything.
StarCraft 2 Not Quite as Expensive as First Thought Did you hear about StarCraft 2 costing $100 million to make? Well, according to Blizzard that’s not entirely accurate, and that massive figure actually refers to the costs involved in making World of Warcraft. Blizzard hasn’t revealed how much StarCraft 2 actually did cost, but it almost certainly didn’t come cheap. (link) Daily Star Writer Makes up Story Then Sneers at Gamers If you had made up a story making out that videogame makers were trying to cash in on the recent Raoul Moat tragedy, you’d expect gamers to be a little bit miffed when they found out, right?
There was no part of his demeanor that did not shout “Yes, I absolutely think I’m way the hell better than you because I needlessly complicate simple interactions like buying groceries just to demonstrate my vocabulary, you miserable plebeian”. It was exactly as annoying as I’m making it sound; At least this article was a joke! – Gildan Bladeborn It appeals to my high-minded idealism whilst simultaneously stimulating my elevated mental capacities, insofar as they are able to be stimulated, and led to mine ultimate reaction of mirth, to whit; contemplating the obfuscation the articulate article would impose upon lay-men, ne’er-do-wells, and other ignominous miscreants who aught bestow recompense for their enormities and plethora of other attrocities of ignorance that they propagate all too regularily.

I loved it. I loved every second, every frame, every reference, every gory kill, every joke – everything. There’s no beating around the bush here; Turbo Kid delivers exactly what it needed to in order to be one of the best B-movies I’ve ever seen, one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had at a movie theater, and one of the films of the year, even if its approximate budget is probably less than most films get to spend on marketing, let alone actually creating the motion picture.
