Sand Castle We Get It War Sucks

I don’t know if you guys have figured this out yet, but war kind of sucks. It sucks for the people involved. It sucks for the civilians whose lives are completely altered by the soldiers and the bombs and the tanks that become staples in their neighborhoods. It sucks for the families who have soldiers overseas. It sucks for the taxpayers, whose money is funding the killing of other people.

Science Judges Your Personality Using Fallout 3

Back in 2011, PhD student Giel van Lankveld noticed something interesting about Neverwinter Nights. If you compared the in-game experiences of characters with the personality test results of players, certain in-game actions lined up with prominent personality traits. These results were consistent among gamers and non-gamers alike, suggesting that video games could be just as effective at evaluating personality traits as any other formal quiz. Of course a single study couldn’t actually prove anything, so van Lankveld set about confirming his findings with more science and a new videogame.

Sword Of Convallaria Pity Explained

The Axis Unseen Has Friction And Feelings To Spare Review

For me, The Axis Unseen clicked quite early on. I was traversing a shallow valley, heading towards a light on the hill. I don’t know how many attempts I’d already made at the journey, constantly being torn apart by werewolves or bigfoots. I was getting frustrated. Those repeated deaths were because I was playing it counter to the way the game demands to be played—and it absolutely does demand to be played in a certain way.

The Bat Is Back In Batman Arkham Origins

After years of waiting, gamers will finally have the opportunity to discover what dark forces drive Bruce Wayne’s obsessive war on crime in Batman: Arkham Origins, a new addition to the hit Arkham series set years before the events of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. The Downside Of The Marvel Effect

These days you can chart out the likely reactions among fandom and the movie press (by which I mean “older fandom,” since the movie sites that move traffic today are the ones that employ the better ex-AICN and CHUD writers) to this or that superhero movie — in the pre-release stages at least — pretty accurately based on where it’s coming from. Like so: STUDIO: Warner Bros REACTION: Tepid excitement, tempered by jokes about overly-dark tones and aesthetic and a desire to see DC movies more in line with their Marvel counterparts.

The Huntsman Winter S War Frozen Again

One of the most unbelievably bland movies I’ve ever seen was Snow White and the Huntsman, a grim-dark retelling of the “Snow White” story, one that turned Snow (Kristen Stewart) into a sword-and-shield-wielding warrior and teamed her up with The Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) in order to take down her stepmother, the evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron). It made way more money than it should have, so talks of a sequel quickly began – only to be derailed when the affair between Stewart and director Rupert Sanders became public.

The Penguin Is Oz S Lover Eve Karlo A Character From Dc Comics

Does Eve Karlo From The Penguin Appear in DC Comics? Eve appears in The Penguin Episode 1 when Oz realizes he needs an alibi for Alberto Falcone’s death. She agrees but returns in Episode 2 with some additional questions for Oz, as she puts the pieces together and figures out what he’s up to. However, their relationship isn’t exactly casual, with Eve going as far as to call Oz “baby.” But despite dating the titular character in The Penguin, Eve isn’t a character from the comics.

The Water Diviner Russell Crowe S Directorial Debut Is A Rocky One

It always fascinates me whenever a well-known actor decides to step into the director’s chair. The results aren’t always good, but they’re more often than not interesting, since moving behind the camera is often done because it’s a film that the actor personally wants to see get made. In the case of The Water Diviner, which marks the directorial debut of Russell Crowe, you can feel the love for the project from start to finish.
