Earlier this month, Fallout 4 snatched up the honors of Best of Show, Best PC Game and Best Role Playing Game for the Game Critics Awards for E3 2015. A Fallout 4 Pip-boy collector’s edition was announced and quickly became one of the most sought after collector’s editions of any video game in recent memory. It sold out quickly, and Bethesda’s Marketing VP Pete Hines stated that no more could, or would, be created.
Earlier this year, Bethesda filed a preliminary injunction against Interplay to try and stop the company from using any of Fallout‘s recognizable settings or characters in its Fallout MMO, claiming that doing so would infringe on canon elements of future Fallout games. Though the injunction was quickly denied, Bethesda, undeterred, filed for an appeal against the denial of its injuction. Now, in the latest development of this three year old legal battle, that appeal has been rejected.
He does https://t.co/sf1x4NtRzS— Chris McKay (@buddboetticher) November 30, 2016 2014’s The LEGO Movie was a surprise hit. News of sequels and spinoffs soon spawned, and the next chapter of the franchise, The LEGO Batman Movie, will hit theaters in February of 2017. Today on Twitter, we learned one semi-important bit of casting news: Billy Dee Williams will voice Two-Face in the movie. Why does this matter? Well, fans of the live-action Batman movies will note that Williams played Harvey Dent in the 1989 Tim Burton film, but never got the chance to turn into the villainous Two-Face.
Black Isle Studios, which you may remember from such games as Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment and Fallout 2, was resurrected, at least in name, by Interplay earlier this year. The idea of Interplay, a shambling corpse in its own right, resurrecting anything might seem a little unlikely, but it looks like they’re serious about it. The studio has a new(ish) project on the go and it wants your money to help make it happen.
Every year, the annual Call of Duty outperforms its predecessors and every year, gamers, journalists and analysts alike wonder if the franchise’s success has peaked. When will the yearly Call of Duty sell fewer games than the one that came a year before? Of course, there’s a lot of time between now and the November 13, 2012 release date, and it’s possible that Black Ops II preorders and interest might lessen over time.

One of the things members of the glorious PC gaming master race have been able to lord over their console brethren is dedicated servers – servers hosted on dedicated hardware, usually by ISPs and other corporations – for a lag-free multiplayer experience. But it now looks like consoles, or at least, the Xbox One, will have the last laugh, with dedicated servers being confirmed for the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The Call of Duty series may be heading back to World War II later this year, but for now its most recent installment is Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The futuristic shooter launch last November, and this weekend, you can play it on Steam for free. The free weekend is already underway, and will last until 4 PM ET Sunday. All you need to do to participate is head over to the game’s Steam page and download it.
Can You Catch Shiny Kartana in Pokémon Go? Yes, you can catch Kartana in its Shiny form when battled in Pokémon Go, so it is well worth investing the time to Shiny-hunt the legendary creature. Kartana’s Shiny form was first introduced to Pokémon Go back in March as part of the Sizeable Surprises event. Alongside the addition of Shiny Kartana, you can also catch Shiny Celesteela, so there’s been plenty of new Shiny goodness introduced to Pokémon Go recently.
While Law acknowledged that his experience working on Captain Marvel was a positive one, he said he wanted more creative freedom with his character. He told Variety, “It was a really good experience. I wish I’d been allowed to have a bit more fun with the part. I wanted him to be more arch. I wanted to lean into the humor more.” Then went on to say, “Also, those suits are hard to move in because they’re thick rubber.
While Castlevania: Nocturne’s second season may have a few more flaws than its stellar first season, it’s still ultimately a good show that kept me hooked for its eight-episode run. It had a little bit of everything you could have wanted from a more grounded and serious Castlevania adventure, but I can’t help but feel that Season 2 was a bit of a give-and-take. Certain characters shined, with others floundered.
When Does Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Episode 9 Release? Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Episode 9 will be available to watch on Aug. 16. Fans can check it out on Hulu or Disney Plus depending on their location, but the episode will arrive on both streaming services at the same time. With Episode 9 there are just four more episodes to come before the series first season concludes.
“It really comes down to whether it makes sense,” Reeves told Happy Sad Confused‘s Josh Horowitz. “There was a story I wanted to tell [with The Batman and the wider Bat-Verse]. The epic crime saga. It’s been important to me to play that out and James and [DC co-head] Peter [Safran] have been really great about that. They are letting us do that. What the future brings, I can’t really tell you.
Since the events of the Apogee Solstice, Critical Role’s Bells Hells have been racing against the clock in their attempts to thwart Ludinus Da’leth’s Calamity-level threat to Exandria’s pantheon. Allies from Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein have aided in the party’s pursuit, with Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer laying the groundwork for complete reunions of both former adventuring troupes. In Critical Role’s latest “At Dawn, We Plan!”-style episode, Bells Hells met with influential leaders from every corner of Exandria during a post-Apogee Solstice war council in Vasselheim, debriefing on their recent missions to Ruidus and Aeor.
Is There Campaign Early Access in BO6? Unfortunately, since nothing was announced at COD Next about early access to the campaign in Black Ops 6, it seems unlikely we’ll be able to play it early. While Activision still has a little under two months to announce something official, it seems highly unlikely the campaign will be playable before launch on Oct. 25. The past two years in MW2 and MW3 featured campaign early access, which was well-received by the community.
Did Rob Rausch Leave Love Island USA Season 6? Before the season finale of Love Island USA, Rausch was eliminated from the island with his partner, Kassy Castillo. Rausch’s friend, Aaron Evans, also exited the show along with a fellow contestant, Kaylor Martin; their group exit was featured on the July 19 episode.
Who Did Rob Date on Love Island Season 6? As soon as the contestants arrived at the main villa, Rausch and Leah Kateb caught each other’s eye.
I’m one of the vocal minority of gamers that actually thoroughly enjoyed Dragon Age 2 for its amazing role-playing and the fun of pulling off interesting combos in the action-based combat. But when I heard Mike Laidlaw, the creative director of the franchise, say that the tactical, top-down view PC players might remember from Origins was returning, I gasped. Not only will PC stalwarts like myself be able to pause and issue commands to your party in a view that makes sense, but console players will have the tactical view available too.
It’s interesting to note that the Mass Effect 2 unlockable content is included with all three versions of the Dragon Age: Origins Collector’s Edition: PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Why would the PlayStation 3 version of the game include Mass Effect 2 content? Unless… Is it possible… Can it be? Nah, it can’t be. The PC version of Dragon Age: Origins is currently listed at $64.99, while the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases will go for $74.
The latest trailer for the highly anticipated trailer reveals several new characters, as well as variants of iconic figures already in the game. Check out the new look at Sparking Zero below: The first major reveal is Trunks (Sword) Super Saiyan, who, funnily enough, just found himself in the Fortnite Item Shop. He’s followed by Mecha Frieza and King Cold, as well as all of the Androids the Z-Fighters find themselves up against during the Android Saga.
The earliest of the demos showed Connor in his wilderness environment, running down and then shooting a deer in the snowy forests, then fending off an attack by some hungry wolves who have been drawn by the scent of blood. Watching Connor move easily through the trees and the forests, I’m getting more and more used to the idea that this latest Assassin’s Creed isn’t an entirely urban game. The character still makes sense in the same ways, so the new context just adds more interest without necessarily breaking what makes the franchise so appealing to so many fans.
