All Ways To Open The Vault In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
How To Open the Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2
Before the season’s launch, Epic Games sneakily showed a Vault opening, as the player used a combination of the new Rocket Drill, Plasma Burst Laser, and Thermite to open the Vault. Now that the season is here, it turns out the key to opening Vaults solely lies in having a Thermite to get the party started. The Thermite item is part of the regular loot pool, meaning they can be found on the ground, in chests, vending machines, or fallen players. Once you have one in hand, head to either Seaport City, Crime City, Masked Meadows, or Lonewolf Lair. Approach the Vault, and you’ll see an interactable icon that lets you place the Thermite, which will kick off the opening process. You’ll have to wait for the Vault to open, but of course, it won’t be easy as a loud noise triggers when you start the process. Enemy AI will attempt to stop you in waves, and you may encounter a player or two depending on whether the area’s clear. The process may feel relatively slow, especially in such a high-stakes moment, however, if you have a Rocket Drill or Plasma Burst Laser, you can shoot the glowing orange vault links to speed the process along. Provided you succeed, the vault will blow open and treat you to some high-quality loot.

Along with the above contents, you’ll gain access to plenty of chests and a mountain of gold, which is always nice for a purchase or two.
