All Current Pokemon GO Raid Bosses

Like most of the game’s spawn pools, the Pokemon GO Raid creatures change from time to time. Whether it be a new season or the latest exciting event, Raid Bosses are swapped out every so often to keep gameplay fresh. Below is a list of all the Pokemon in raids for the month of January 2025.

Mega Raids

The current Mega Raid boss will update at 10 AM local time on the specified date.

Legendary Shadow Raids

5-Star Raids

The current 5-star raid boss updates at 10 AM local time on the specified dates.

3-Star Raids

Some events, including Steeled Resolve & Lunar New Year, haven’t had full details released yet and may include additional 3-Star Raids.

1-Star Raids

All Current Max Battles in Pokemon GO

In addition to the Pokemon GO Raid schedule, the Max Out season added a new type of battle in addition to raids — Max Battles. These involve facing off against a Dynamax boss to capture a special Pokemon that can Dynamax in certain battles. You will need to collect Max Particles to participate in these battles, so be sure to gather them so you’re ready! Here are the January 2025 Max Battles we know about so far:

1-Star Max Battles

Two unannounced Max Battles will be released this month – one the week of January 20-January 27 and the second on January 27-February 3.

Gigantamax Battles

Gigantamax Battles are Max Battles, but more intense. They involve battling a Gigantamax Pokemon, which lets trainers catch a version of that critter that can Gigantamax. No new Gigantax battles have been announced for January 2025.

Max Mondays in January

During Max Monday hourlong events, all Power Spots will host Max Battles with that day’s featured Dynamax Pokemon. All Max Mondays will take place from 6 PM-7 PM local time on the specified dates.
