Jesse Eisenberg Batman V Superman Lex Luthor Is Complicated Challenging

Earlier this year, Warner Bros. raised more than a few eyebrows when it announced that Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Zombieland) would be playing Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman This was then followed by a report that this incarnation of the villain would be a “street tough,” self-made billionaire that started out as a leader of his own gang. Now, in an interview with TotalFilm, Eisenberg states that while there are guidelines on how the character should behave based on the film’s script, an actor must also make the character his/her own. In other Batman v Superman news, Warner decided to back down on the film’s release date so it won’t go head-to-head against Marvel’s Captain America 3. Also of note, director Zack Snyder hinted that Aquaman might be making an appearance in the film alongside Batman, Superman and Wonderman, when he defended the character against insults from a radio station’s DJs.
