Mass Effect Legendary Edition Receives Rating In Korea
The first details regarding a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster came via a report in May of this year. This initial report stated BioWare’s critically acclaimed RPG series would come to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One before March 2021 and that a Nintendo Switch release may or may not come later down the road. Last month, listings for Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered were spotted before a swift removal. These supposed remaster leaks seemed to hint that the bundle of games would indeed come to Nintendo Switch in addition to other current-gen platforms. However, reporter Jeff Grubb, the source of almost all non-retail-related leaks for the game, has reiterated in the past that Switch is not part of current plans and that the game is indeed called Legendary Edition. No leak, report, or rumor thus far has made any mention of PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S versions of Mass Effect Legendary Edition. EA has not made any official mention of a remaster treatment for the trilogy, but remasters of the BioWare classics are pretty definitely in the works for release likely within the next few months. Here’s to hoping the publisher will have more to talk about come N7 Day (Nov. 7) in just a few weeks.
