Appearing inside a hollow log, you’ll immediately be apprehended by that giant Scalled creature. After you escape the cross, Blake needs a bandage to fix his stigmata wounds. That’s right, you just got put on the cross. You also lost your camera, so you’ll have to do without for now. Leave the cross clearing through the left path, and wait for the machete-wielding creep to wander further away and out of view. There’s a low tent with a bandage inside. That’s the easiest bandage to collect in the camp. Grab it, then run right and hide under the hollow log where another Scalled is sitting. Wait for the patrolling Scalled to walk by, then crawl out of the log and go behind the tent to find a bloody ledge. Crawl up and over to reach another section of the camp. Here, guards are carrying flashlights. Sneak and stick to the right edge to reach the narrow canyon. If you’re spotted, sprint and jump up onto the ledge to the right of the barbed wire fence. It’s also marked with blood. Dropping off the cliffside, the brute will reappear ahead – don’t alert him! Stay in the tall grass, and he’ll shoot his own flunky, then wander back down the trail. Slowly follow the monster and look for a long tree leaning against the rocks on the right. Use it like a ramp to reach the high ledges, then dive back down into the swampy water. Keep your head down and swim forward or the crossbow hunter will spot you. Stay still and poke your head out when the flashlight leaves. You’ll need to take a few breathers to survive long enough. If you’re concealed under the water long enough, the brute will wander away, giving you an opening. Stand up and run to the right to find an open cabin.
