The Witcher Season 2 Trailer Release Date Revealed Plus Nightmare Of The Wolf Release

The second, more linear season of The Witcher picks up where the first left off, with Ciri and Geralt traveling to Kaer Morhen, where she will hopefully be safe. It looks like a lot of training is going to go on with plenty of swords and kung fu-style poles for people to fight on top of. There is, of course, also the tease of Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) returning as well at the end of the teaser. Showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich had the following to say about The Witcher season 2 and the connection between Geralt and Ciri highlighted in the trailer: We’ll get to check all that out when The Witcher season 2 lands on its December 17, 2021 release date. Netflix also revealed our first look at the upcoming anime prequel, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which has a release date of August 23, 2021 and will focus on Geralt’s mentor Vesemir. Animation is being handled by Korean studio Mir, which did The Legend of Korra.
